The UQ Law School is teaming up with the UQ Pro Bono Centre and our student societies for this year’s Queensland Legal Walk.
We’ve got our sights set on the Champion Law School Fundraiser trophy, but what really drives us is making access to justice possible for those who need it most.

We’re proud to be teaming up with the UQ Law School, UQ Pro Bono Centre, JATL and UQWiBELS to raise funds for LawRight’s access to justice services for disadvantaged and marginalised Queenslanders.
This event is a great way to get involved in the Law School community while starting your day with a 5km walk for a meaningful cause (plus we’ve got our sights set on the Champion Law School Fundraiser trophy)!
Can’t join us on the day? You can also show your support by donating to the UQ Law School team through the link to help us reach our $1,500 fundraising goal.
DETAILS:
Date: Tuesday, 19 May 2026
Time: 6:45am arrival for a 7:00am start
Location: QEII Courts of Law Complex on George Street in the Brisbane CBD.
Dress Code: All participants will receive a free UQ Pro Bono Centre shirt to wear on the day! Once registered, you can collect your free shirt from room W417 in the Law Library.
HOW TO REGISTER:

2. Select register and register as a CLC/ Student registration
3. Follow the steps
4. When you get to the “Team” page, you must select the Team “UQ Law School- University of Queensland." If you don’t join our team, any funds you raise won’t count towards our fundraising total!
